Story: Four females have encountered oppression in one form or another after fate dealt them a terrible hand. The four come together when, driven by events, they choose to abandon their victimized posture and pursue justice independently. The girls battle for one another and ultimately succeed in achieving their goal of being free from authority.
Analysis: The story starts with them being subjected to various forms of subjugation under male authority through atrocities, as portrayed by Amyra Dastur, Sharan Kaur, Neha Pawar, and Mehnaaz Maan. These four females are drawn together at a point in their lives when they are forced to flee their various restrictive environments and must turn to retaliation in order to survive. They find this to be a freeing experience, and they are motivated to seek retribution on their wrongdoers and release from oppression. Inspired by Sikh fighter Baba Banda Sing Bahadur, the girls put on a stirring performance of common people being given extraordinary strength by well-known figures.
The girls' journey is projected, and the film's direction plays a significant part in showing how they change from timid girls to strong women. Sharan Kaur and Amyra Dastur both portray their roles with a great deal of passion and character strength. These two actresses have exciting action scenes that demonstrate their maturity in performing. Mehnaaz Maan is particularly deserving of recognition for her portrayal of a nasty, resentful lady who is fed up with social injustices.
In this film, Shivjot, a Punjabi musician, makes his acting debut as a police officer following the girl's path. He has successfully joined the group of Punjabi singers who have transitioned into actors and done a good job.
Though it occasionally veers into excess and tries a bit too hard to depict girls' journey from helpless to powerful, the movie does a good job of portraying women as empowered.
In addition to adding to the story, the music is occasionally eerie.
All things considered, the movie represents an impressive endeavor from the creators in a field primarily dominated by romantic comedy subjects and male actors.
